Brian Stoddart

Brian Stoddart has written four Superintendent Le Fanu crime novels set in British India, the third of which (A Straits Settlement) was a finalist in New Zealand’s Ngaio Marsh Awards. Brian has also written sixteen non-fiction works covering history, sport, India, biography and memoir. A House in Damascus:  Before the Fall was an Amazon No 1 seller and won awards for creative non-fiction and travel. Brian is an award-winning screenwriter, a columnist on international affairs and popular culture, cruise ship lecturer and consultant on international higher education. In non-COVID times he lives between Fremantle and New Zealand.
