Deb Fitzpatrick

Congratulations to Deb, named as one of six fellows for 2020 by the May Gibbs Children's Literature Trust.  The Trust aims to support the creativity and careers of contemporary Australian children's authors and illustrators.  Deb will work on a new novel for young adult readers.

Dianne has won this year's Nance Donkin Award, presented biennially by the Society of Women Writers in Victoria, to a woman author in Australia who writes for children.

The Dog with Seven Names

Dianne Wolfer's best-selling novel for younger readers has been shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Australian Book of the Year Awards.  Winners will be announced in November.

Congratulations to Liana, awarded one of three Varuna/Scribe fellowships to work with Scribe Publications editorial staff to develop her non-fiction manuscript at Varuna Writers’ House in early November.

Amanda joins writers from UK, USA, NZ, Spain, Italy, Austria and Jamaica in residence at Sun Yat-sen University in China in November. Amanda is working on a new novel.
